In this article, we will share the details of the hiring process for Goldman Sachs and TCS


Goldman Sachs

It is a major player in the Treasury security market in the United States. Its services include clearing and custodian banking. Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management provides wealth management services. It manages hedge funds, private equity funds, credit, and real estate funds, and private equity funds.


Goldman Sachs Hiring process


Round 1: Goldman Sachs Online Assessment Test


Goldman Sachs Online Assessment Test is conducted in online mode and students can give it from home, and students are requested to turn on the web camera, as well as tab monitoring. Round 4:Hr interview

TCS


TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) is an Indian software and services company. It is a subsidiary of the Tata Group, which manages over 100 businesses in seven industries: communications and information technology, engineering, materials, services, energy, consumer goods, and chemicals. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a multinational Indian information technology business based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. As of February 2021, TCS was the world's largest IT services company by market capitalization ($200 billion). TCS holds an NQT exam to recruit fresh graduates for two job profiles: TCS Ninja and TCS Digital. Each candidate who takes the NQT exam receives an NQT score, based on which he is chosen for the Ninja and Digital profile interview.

Round 1: online assessment


The online assessment contains questions on topics like

  • English Verbal

  • Aptitude test

Round 2:Interview

Generally, they combine all Manager + Technical + HR interviews in a single call which may last one hour. If you are aiming for a TCS digital profile then you should have a great grasp on new trending topics like Machine learning, IOT, Android, etc. In the call there are two-person one will ask technical questions and the other will ask questions related to puzzles and behavior.

TCS CODEVITA Process

TCS Codevita is a TCS-hosted online coding competition. Tata Consultancy Services hosts one of the largest coding competitions in the world. It comprises three rounds and depending on your performance, you may move to the next level and be eligible to win prizes or receive a call from TCS for an interview. Here, I'll talk about my interview experience and how TCS digital offered me a job.

Codevita consists of three rounds, Pre-Qualifier Round( Round 1), Qualifier Round( Round 2), and Grand Finale. Now let’s discuss these rounds and how you can get an interview call along with my experience.

Exam pattern

Round 1(Pre-Qualifier)

It's an online coding competition in which contestants must solve six coding questions in six hours. If you've answered at least one question correctly, you'll be contacted for an interview. However, it's best to solve a couple of problems to be safe, and don't try to copy codes because the contest has a very effective plagiarism checker. Based on your performance in the interview, you will be chosen for the post of TCS ninja or TCS digital. In my situation, I answered two questions correctly and was contacted for an interview.

Round 2(Qualifier)

This round will be promoted from the zonal round, and it will also be an online round. In an 8-hour period, you must answer eight code questions. Because the difficulty level is so great, one must be thoroughly prepared before attempting it.

Grand Finale

The final round consists of ten code questions, with the best scorers from the qualification round advancing to the final round. In India, it is usually conducted in TCS offices. After this, there will be an interview and will depend on the interview but generally, the process remains the same as explained above.

Tcs NQT

TCS NQT, or Tata Consultancy Services National Qualifier Test, is a placement exam test held by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for the purpose of hiring freshers. TCS Ninja and TCS Digital profiles are the two positions for which the students are hired.

TCS Ninja is a profile name used by TCS to recruit young graduates across India through a National Qualifier Test (NQT). Students that qualify for TCS Ninja earn a 3.5 LPA package.

TCS Digital: TCS uses the brand TCS Digital to attract fresh graduates across India through a National Qualifier Test (NQT). TCS Digital students receive a package of around 7 LPA.

TCS uses the TCS ion platform to conduct the NQT.

After clearing the test candidate has to grow the rigorous interview process which consists of technical managerial and hr interviews.
